What is new in the revised edition of DAMA DM-BoK v2?

The revised edition of DAMA-DMBOK2 contains several updates that improve the overall reading experience and provide a more consistent and accurate source for data management professionals.

The most important improvements in the revised edition include:

Consistency in terminology and acronyms: Throughout the book, terms and acronyms have been standardised to ensure consistent language for better understanding.
Typos and errors in figures corrected: We have corrected various typos and errors in the figures across all chapters, providing a more visually accurate representation of the concepts discussed. Revised context diagrams: The 12 context diagrams have been carefully revised, and we have improved their consistency with the content of the corresponding chapters.
Improvements in the data quality chapter: The structure of the data quality chapter has been refined, and we have added an appendix to provide more insight and clarification on key concepts.

❗️Note: from October, this revised edition is the basis for all CDMP certifications.

❗️The revised edition is available from today and will be included as standard from 1 October as part of the CDMP trainings at Connected Data Academy, an Open Line company.

❗️If you order the revised edition between April 2024 and October 2024 and register for a CDMP exam, DAMA International will include the PDF version of V2 for free.
